About Me

“Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way . “

Now you know how much I love ‘Alice In Wonderland’!

What can I tell about myself? I am still in the mode of discovery. An Aquarian to the core, I usually say that Simple is the word that best describes me, as its sufficiently vague! (Smiles!)

I like little joys of life like the time to smell the roses, leisure to walk to the beach, a cup of coffee in rain and a book by my bedside. Part nomad, part loose canon, I love to bend rules, follow tradition, play the rebel, roam like a free wind. Do I sound like a contradiction? That I am!

I used to keep diaries since childhood.. Still have one, yet haven’t captured anything since I have switched to online. This blog is a mirror of my thoughts, random musings and reflections. My reason for sanity and my companion in solitude! I blog as it feels as if am talking to myself or musing in words to capture many nothings. Giving form to those feelings or expressions can set one free. I can actually title some posts as notes to myself. Sometimes, I am my own reader. Its pretty interesting to see how my thoughts and ideas have developed over the sands of time..

I make my own rules which are subject to refinement through my experience. I am open and approachable to different opinions, all you need to do is ask! For all those unsuspecting visitors who dropped in, you are welcome to share your perspective too.. I take time to go through whatever you have got to say and I indeed respond over email or on this blog.

This favorite bit of mine (snatched from Pink Flyod) beautifully puts what I believe.. Yes, I keep humming that to myself at times…

“Long you live and high you fly
And smiles you’ll give and tears you’ll cry
And all you touch and all you see
Is all your life will ever be.”

Signs Off,

An Eternal Optimist!

P.S. : On A Lighter Note, I Loved This Quote..

“An idealist is one who, on noticing that roses smell better than a cabbage, concludes that it will also make better soup.” – H. L. Mencken

Since talking about myself is such a tough task, I took some personality profile test. Here are some Result Tidbits.. I love to be described like that.. 🙂

“Ferociously proud and somewhat vain, you like to be impressive and to be seen as Somebody Special. You are not timid, meek, or self-effacing, and are rarely content being in the background or in the subordinate position. You are a natural leader, and do not take orders from others very well. You must have something of your own, something creative – be it a business, a project, a home or whatever – that you can develop and manage according to your own will and vision. Whatever you do, you do it in a unique, dramatic, individual way. You like to put your own personal stamp on it.

You are a freedom-loving, strong-willed, and independent-minded individual, and you insist upon living your own life as you see fit, even if that means ignoring convention and tradition. In personal relationships you cannot be owned or possessed, and while you are willing to share yourself with another, you do not always adjust easily to the emotional give and take of a close relationship. Though intellectually open, you can be enormously stubborn, opinionated, and inflexible on a one-to-one level. You have strong convictions and feelings about fairness and equality, and you try to live by your ideals, but your ideals about how people SHOULD treat one another don’t always take into account human weaknesses, differences, and needs. You probably dislike sentimentality and traditional gender roles and “games”. “

It seems your roots are in India, our big brother. Long ago, I came across an Indian movie (I think it was a south Indian tamil movie) that showed how a little girl named ‘Malee” were being made into a suicide mission. Theme is closely related with the assasination of the late Indian Prime Minister, H.E. Rajiv Gandhi. Can you pl tell me what is that movie and how can get a copy of it for our campus film club????? The other thing about a tamil song with English subtitles. If I remember correctly, it was about a letter that has come from motherland. The English verse of this song or the copy of the song. I think there may be some who can extend the goodwill sending these as a great help for my education…..moreover my experiments about human beings and life as whole. My address is as follows;

Interesting blog. I liked the ‘Quote’ page a lot; will incorporate something similar in mine.

About the fucked-up education scene; I’m working on some kind of a solution which I’ll test here in Goa first.

Soft, sweet, makes people to read more than just going through the post. A nice blend of simplicity, one’s experience and putting them smoothly on a portrait and describing oneself.

Was fun reading your post.

I tried to download the novel Infinite Jest from the link you left in your blog, but it is no more available in rapidshare. What is this life, if full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
But now the time has come
When all I do is sit and stare
And I and others no longer care.
